If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the website.

1. Purpose of This Website

The Deep Water website provides information about our academy, martial arts programs, training pathways, services, scheduling process, membership process, educational resources, and ways to contact us.

The website also allows prospective students, parents, guardians, members, and other visitors to request information, ask questions, inquire about private training, and request a free trial class.

Website content is provided for general informational and educational purposes.

2. Website Terms Are Separate From Training and Membership Agreements

These Terms govern use of the website.

They do not replace or modify any separate membership agreement, payment authorization, liability waiver, assumption-of-risk agreement, academy rule, private-training arrangement, competition agreement, or other document that may apply to participation in Deep Water training or services.

If you become a student or member, additional agreements, policies, and terms may apply.

If a separate written agreement between you and Deep Water conflicts with these Website Terms concerning a subject specifically governed by that separate agreement, the separate agreement controls for that subject.

3. Website Forms and Inquiries

Submitting a website form allows you to request information or initiate a conversation with Deep Water.

Submitting a form does not by itself create a membership, reserve a particular service, guarantee acceptance into a program, or create a binding agreement for martial arts instruction.

Deep Water may contact you using the information you provide in order to respond to your inquiry, discuss the service you requested, or provide relevant follow-up.

You are responsible for providing accurate information through our website forms.

4. Free Trial Class Requests

Deep Water offers a free trial class as a way for prospective students to experience the academy.

Submitting a free-trial form is a request to arrange a first visit. It does not automatically reserve a particular date, time, coach, class, or program.

Trial classes are scheduled in advance.

The appropriate first class may depend on factors such as age, experience, goals, training interests, availability, and who will be participating.

Not every program is available at every time, and not every class is appropriate for every first-time visitor. Deep Water may manage trial attendance so coaches can provide appropriate attention to both new visitors and current students.

5. Programs, Placement, and Progression

Website descriptions explain how Deep Water’s programs and training pathways generally operate.

Individual placement may depend on factors such as age, experience, skill, readiness, safety, goals, and coaching judgment.

Website content does not guarantee placement into a particular program, class, advanced training level, competition opportunity, or coaching arrangement.

Advancement in martial arts training is not guaranteed merely because a particular amount of time has passed.

6. Pricing, Memberships, and Scheduling

Deep Water does not publish every membership price or the complete member class schedule on the public website.

Prospective members receive applicable information about available membership options, terms, exact cost, and what the membership includes before enrollment. Members receive access to the complete academy schedule.

7. Private Lessons and Small-Group Training

Deep Water offers private lessons and small-group training to members and non-members, including adults, children, complete beginners, and experienced students, depending on the requested training and appropriate fit.

Private-training availability, coach availability, rates, session format, scheduling, and other details may vary.

Submitting a private-training inquiry does not guarantee a particular coach, rate, discipline, session length, group size, training format, or schedule.

Specific arrangements are confirmed directly through the appropriate Deep Water communication and scheduling process.

8. Martial Arts Training Involves Risk

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Boxing, Muay Thai, Striking, MMA-related training, self-defense training, conditioning, sparring, drilling, and other physical activities involve physical exertion and inherent risk.

Nothing on this website represents that martial arts training is free from risk.

Website descriptions concerning beginner instruction, coaching, progression, controlled partner work, safety practices, or training structure do not eliminate the inherent risks associated with physical activity or combat sports.

Participation in training may require you, or a parent or legal guardian where applicable, to review and execute separate waivers, assumption-of-risk agreements, releases, or other participation documents.

Those documents are separate from these Website Terms.

9. No Medical Advice

Website content is not medical advice and should not be treated as medical advice.

Deep Water does not determine through the website whether martial arts training is medically appropriate for a particular person.

10. No Guaranteed Results

People train martial arts for many different reasons, including learning martial arts skills, fitness, self-defense capability, competition, confidence, discipline, focus, challenge, and personal development.

Individual results vary.

Deep Water does not guarantee weight loss, fitness outcomes, self-defense outcomes, competition results, belt promotions, advancement, confidence, behavioral changes, or any other particular result merely because someone participates in training.

Descriptions of what training is intended to develop or support are not guarantees that every person will experience the same result.

11. Email Communications

If you provide an email address when submitting an inquiry or requesting a service, Deep Water may use that address to respond to your request and communicate about the matter you initiated.

Where permitted by law, we may also send email concerning Deep Water programs, classes, events, promotions, membership opportunities, academy news, or related services.

Marketing emails will provide an appropriate unsubscribe method where required.

Unsubscribing from marketing email does not necessarily prevent us from sending non-marketing communications reasonably necessary to respond to a request, administer an existing relationship, or communicate about a service you requested.

Opting Out

After an applicable STOP request is processed, you may receive a confirmation that you have been unsubscribed. You will no longer receive messages covered by that opt-out unless you later provide new consent.

A failure by Deep Water to enforce a provision of these Terms does not permanently waive the right to enforce that provision or another provision later.
